9th grade Biology students became consumer scientists as they used the scientific method to investigate the strength of different brands of toilet paper. Students made observations, developed hypotheses, designed and conducted experiments, collected and recorded data, analyzed their results, and used evidence to draw conclusions. Through this hands-on investigation, students applied scientific thinking to a real-world consumer question: Which brand of toilet paper provides the greatest strength and value?

Tiger Pride: Leading Beyond MCHS!

We are proud to recognize Monroe County High School junior Alvin Cook, who is representing our school and students across the state through his leadership with Alabama FBLA!

Alvin currently serves as the Alabama FBLA District 3 Vice President, an impressive leadership role that gives him the opportunity to connect with, represent, and support FBLA members throughout our district.

Alabama FBLA recently highlighted Alvin for the enthusiasm, curiosity, energy, and willingness to learn that he brings to the state leadership team. We are proud to see one of our own Tigers stepping into a leadership role that extends far beyond the walls of MCHS.

Congratulations, Alvin! Thank you for representing Monroe County High School with such enthusiasm and for showing what it means to lead, serve, and get involved. We look forward to seeing all that you accomplish during your year of service as District 3 Vice President!

Way to represent MCHS and make us proud!

Alvin Cook is a junior at Monroe County High School and proudly serves as the District 3 Vice President! He is incredibly enthusiastic about his role and is always excited to connect with and support the members he represents. With an interest in just about everything, Alvin brings curiosity, energy, and a willingness to learn to the Alabama FBLA team.
