Friday night football is back at Volunteer Field!🏈

Our Volunteers took the field tonight for the jamboree, joined by Lowndes Academy and Southern Academy. From the players and cheerleaders to everyone in the stands, it was great to see so much school spirit on display.

We’re excited to bring back a Monroe Academy favorite—Orange Aides! 🍊

Orange Aides play an important role in building school spirit throughout the year. From cheering on our teams to helping create excitement for special events and traditions, these students help make sure there’s plenty of Volunteer spirit around campus!

We are proud to announce this year's officers: President Abigail Stinson and Vice President Brooklyn Searcy. We would also like to thank Mrs. Jodi Dees for serving as the sponsor of this organization.

We can’t wait to see the energy, enthusiasm, and Volunteer spirit Orange Aides will bring to campus this year. Go Vols! 🏐 🥎 ⚾️ 🏀 🏈📣🧡

Our first graders are off to a great start! 🧸📚

They celebrated Teddy Bear Adoption Day and are excited to spend the year reading with their new furry friends. After reading The Magical Yet, they talked about how mistakes help us learn, the importance of believing in ourselves, and having the courage to try new things. Students also made UV bead bracelets and enjoyed watching them change colors in the sunshine! ☀️🧡

Meet the Vols is moving indoors!

After praying for rain for weeks, the Monroe Academy field crew finally got its wish… about 45 minutes after beginning preparations for Friday night’s jamboree. 🌧️

Tomorrow night, we’ll enjoy Meet the Vols inside Bill Grant Memorial Gymnasium while those guys continue working to get Volunteer Field painted and ready for Friday night.

A little rain may have changed tonight’s field-prep plans, but it certainly won’t dampen the excitement for tomorrow night.

What a week at Monroe Academy! From welcoming new faculty and staff, to professional development, Open House, and an incredible first day of school, our campus is once again filled with energy, excitement, and Volunteer pride.

Thank you to our families, students, faculty, and staff for helping make the start of this school year such a success. We are excited for the opportunities, growth, and memories that this school year will bring!
