🌱 JOIN US TOMORROW FOR THE MONROE–ESCAMBIA CROPS TOUR! 🌱

Farmers, producers, and agricultural professionals are invited to join us tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25, for the APPA/ACES Monroe–Escambia Crops Tour.

The tour begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Grant Brothers Cotton Trial and will include field stops featuring cotton and peanut production, variety and seeding rate trials, pest management, harvest equipment, w**d control, and disease updates.

Participants will have an opportunity to hear directly from Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Auburn University specialists, industry representatives, and local producers while seeing current crop conditions and research in the field.

The Alabama Cooperative Extension System invites you to the third annual Alabama Regenerative Growers Conference. This two-day event—hosted in partnership with Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network and Jones Valley Teaching Farm—focuses on agroecological methods of fruit and vegetable production, with session tracks for both commercial farmers and home/community gardeners. The conference features educational sessions, farm tours, vendors, lunch, and networking: a convergence of commercial and community growers interested in soil health, biodiversity, agroecology, community food resilience, and related topics.
