Our summer garden is beautiful! Stop by on Wednesday for lunch, and while you are here, grab some of our fresh produce! Cucumbers and kale are freshly picked. We are here with FREE lunch for kids from 11am till 1pm.

Our original Dino Egg Excavation was SO much more popular than we had imagined, and we ran out of supplies pretty quickly....well, we're back! This time we have raided ALL of the dinosaur nests that we could find! And, we're also asking for registration so nobody leaves disappointed. 💥Excessive heat warning💥, you say? Miss Ally & Miss Catriona laugh in the face of your heat warning! They were out first thing this morning putting in the new BOOK WALK at Monroeville Community Park. You can read John, Paul, George, & Ben by Lane Smith as you stroll along the path behind the gazebo. This story about 4 mischievous boys who became America's Founding Fathers will be up until the end of July!

REMINDER: Gateway Food and Nutrition is once again sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), a Federally-Funded Free Meals Program for all children 18 years of age & younger.

Lunch will be served at each site from 11am to 1pm, Mon-Thurs until August 6 at the Evergreen Elementary School Cafeteria
and the Pitcairn Borough Park Building.

We'd also like to share that our weekly offerings once again includes a daily hot offering — while supplies last — in addition to the normal daily offerings of PB&J combo meal, yo to go combo meal or Italian / Turkey Submarine Sandwich Meal.

Today is library day!! Bring the kids for lunch and spend some time with the amazing Monroeville Library Children's Room. Right here at Evergreen!

We've got a LOT going on tomorrow!! We're excavating Dino Eggs at 10:30 (for those who have registered), then we'll be at Evergreen Elementary from 11am-1pm with crafts and activities. 4-5pm join us on the grass outside the library (weather permitting) for some water fun, and finally our furry friends from Alliance of Therapy Dogs will be here from 6-7pm for Read to a Dog. Something for everybody!!

FREE lunches are available for all children aged 18 and younger at Evergreen Elementary School and Pitcairn Borough Building throughout the summer! Mon-Thurs, 11am-1pm. The library will be at Evergreen on July 8 & 22, and we'll be at Pitcairn July 15 & 29. We'll have fun crafts and activities PLUS you can turn in your summer reading! See you there!
