Week 3 of the 2026-2027 school year was an exciting one. We had the Apprentices busy for sure. The shops were full of activities. We had refrigerant reclaiming, ice machine maintenance, a latent / sensible heat science experiment, continued progress on our service plumbing lab, and conducted a weld test. All this in addition to our 2026 Manufacturing Day event. What a productive week!

We had a great group of students from Ida Middle School on campus today as part of Manufacturing Day in Monroe County. We are a non-traditional manufacturer. We manufacture skilled Trades workers and we were glad to show these kids a great career pathway. Thank you to the Monroe County Intermediate School District, Monroe County Business Alliance and Ida Public Schools for a great Manufacturing Day!

Today we had the privilege of presenting to the Monroe County High School Counselor group. We presented on the new Pathways to Apprenticeship Certificate program at MCCC and the updated welding articulation with MCCC. I hope everyone took something away from our presentation and had a good time.

Last night the Plumbing Code Class started a new project. They started the second rough for our new plumbing service wet lab. This will allow us to expand our ASSE Service Plumber Certification program. This is what it looks like to invest in your people.

Completed the Project House bathroom remodel today. Needless to say, the home owner is extremely happy with the renovations. It is not only beautiful but will be so much more functional.
