Our team had an incredible time learning, collaborating, and growing alongside educators from across the state. The “Big Idea” theme challenged us to think bigger, lead stronger, and continue doing what is best for students.

Madison James Foster Elementary was definitely in the building, and we are excited to bring back new ideas and strategies to support our students and staff.

Mrs. Latreacia Matthews of Monroe, Louisiana, is a proud member of Grambling State University’s Class of 2026, graduating from the College of Professional Studies with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. After beginning her academic journey in 1989, her story is one of resilience, faith, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to education.

This degree is more than an accomplishment. It is a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams and achieve your goals.

Mrs. Matthews’ journey is living proof that dreams deferred are not dreams denied.
