Please welcome Johnny and Robin Holey to the Executive Committee!

Johnny and Robin met in West Texas and have been happily married for 22 years. In 2009, they welcomed their oldest son, Jesse, and soon began traveling across the United States through Johnny’s work as a welder. Their middle son, Braydon, was born in 2012, followed by their youngest son, Ledger, in 2016.

As a family, they traveled extensively throughout the country, teaching their children about the rich history, culture, and unique skills of each region they visited. Along the way, they shared countless adventures and created lasting memories together.

In 2021, they planted roots and joined NELCHA. They have been members of the Monroe and West Monroe co-ops, and Robin currently serves as the Administrator of the Delhi NELCHA co-op branch.

Johnny continues to travel for work but values spending time with his family above all else. Their boys are actively involved in 4-H Shooting Sports and leadership. Jesse excels in robotics and engineering competitions, Braydon enjoys theater and computer animation, and Ledger follows in his older brothers’ footsteps with a love for LEGO building, STEM creations and various sports.


The family attends Harvest Assembly in Oak Grove. Robin participates in both Women’s ministry and Teen ministry.

Together, they enjoy hiking, camping, days at the lake, and spontaneous adventures. Their home is filled with love, laughter, and fun, while their yard is alive with farm animals and endless adventures.

The Holeys are deeply passionate about homeschooling and believes every family deserves the right to guide their child’s education. Johnny and Robin are honored to have been asked to serve on the General Board and look forward to serving NELCHA.

Please help us welcome the Poes to CHA Executive Council!

Codie and Erica Poe have been married for 13 years and are the proud
parents of four boys: Gatlin, Gus, Grady, and Gideon. Together, they strive to raise their boys to love the Lord, work hard, serve others, and enjoy God’s creation to the fullest.

Faith is at the center of the Poe family’s home and daily life. Codie serves as a deacon at North Hills Church in West Monroe, where he and Erica also faithfully serve together teaching a 5 & 6 year old Sunday morning Sunday school class. Both Codie and Erica are passionate about discipling their boys and pointing them daily toward Christ and biblical truth.

Erica comes from a second-generation homeschool family, and homeschooling has become a meaningful part of the Poe family’s life as they seek to cultivate a Christ-centered education, strong character, and close family relationships.

The Poe family loves spending time together outdoors and enjoys all things hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, and exploring nature. If there’s a creek to fish, woods to hunt, or a ballfield nearby, the Poe boys are usually there. Baseball is a huge part of their family life, and Codie spends much of his time coaching multiple youth baseball teams and investing in young athletes both on and off the field. He also serves as a director at Biedenharn
Ballpark in West Monroe, where he enjoys helping build community and encourage young players and families.

Gatlin, Gus, Grady, and Gideon are energetic boys who love sports, the outdoors, and spending time together as a family. The Poe family is thankful for the opportunity to homeschool and is excited to continue growing, learning, and serving alongside other like-minded families

Welcome to the Executive Council!!

The Robbins family has been homeschooling for 17 years. Brian and Erika have been married for 24 years and have seven children—four boys and three girls. CJ is graduating from Louisiana Tech University this Saturday with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and plans to attend medical school before entering the mission field. Levi works at the airport and is studying HVAC at Delta. He is getting married in June. Stella is studying to be an occupational therapy assistant at ULM. Zeke, Evie, Jayna, and River are still homeschooling and are involved at Monroe Co-op.

Nine years ago, the family moved back to Brian’s hometown of Monroe after living in Texas, Michigan, and Mississippi. They attend Bethel Baptist Church in West Monroe, where Brian and Erika serve in the youth and homeless ministries and lead the young adult Sunday School class. They also served as foster parents in Texas and Michigan, with three of their children being adopted through foster care.

Brian has worked for Konecranes for nine years in a variety of roles and currently serves as Sales Support Manager for the southeastern US. Before that, he worked for Johnson Controls as a project and facilities manager at industrial sites. Erika stays busy homeschooling their children and organizing educational trips to museums and other destinations. She also teaches chemistry and biology at the Monroe co-op, having earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Louisiana Tech University and a master’s degree in education from Houston Baptist University.

Outside of school and work, Brian enjoys photography, hiking, kayaking, and woodworking, while Erika loves crocheting, gardening, hiking, and reading. As a family, they enjoy camping, road trips, and hosting airsoft parties in their back field for their children’s extended group of friends. All of their children have played soccer for CHA, except for the youngest, who is eagerly waiting until he is old enough to join.

We truly appreciate all of the friends we have made through the NELCHA and look forward to being allowed to serve this wonderful community on the Executive Board.
