Happy National Custodian Day! We want to give a HUGE thank you to our amazing custodians! From keeping our building clean and sanitized to moving furniture, supplies, and just about everything else around our school, you are always working hard behind the scenes to make our school a better place.

We appreciate all the early mornings, long days, heavy lifting, quick cleanups, and all the little things you do that make a BIG difference. Our school simply wouldn’t be the same without you! Thank you for taking such great care of our school and everyone in it.

We’re excited to kick off our first Parent University session of the year on October 8th from 5:30–6:30 PM at Monroe Area High School. This year, CMS and MAHS are partnering to bring our parent sessions together. Our first session will be Middle School & High School 101 for Parents, with helpful information to support families as students navigate these important years.

Our sixth graders have been working hard on analyzing expository techniques! Students were challenged to recreate a text about the London Eye by identifying the main idea, supporting details, and overall text structure.

We love seeing students think critically, break down informational texts, and show their understanding in creative ways! 📝💡
