Blackhawk Technical College - Monroe Campus

Here is a summary of steps to become eligible to register for the Nursing Assistant program: Information is sent as each step is completed.

· Apply to the College- Short term program- Nursing Assistant
· Submit Pre Admissions Test or schedule Next Generation Accuplacer Reading and Arithmetic (Minimum: ACT Scores Math 14 and Reading 13)
· Complete Background Check
· Complete and upload all Health Requirements –
· 1st Step Needed initially then 2nd step of TB to be completed no more than 90 days prior to start
· E-Learnings :
· HIPPA & OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen (included with Background check purchase) Certificates of completion need to be uploaded into Health Portal

Once these items have been completed and approved, you are then released to register.
