Volunteers needed!! Monroe Primary PTO is looking for volunteers for a couple of activities we have going on with our students!!

Scholastic book fair all week in the gym and we’re looking for volunteers to help students shop!

Fall pictures are this Wednesday, September 16th and we need volunteers to help students with finishing touches and lining up!!

Vision/hearning screenings will be this Friday, September 18th and we’re looking for volunteers to help bring students to/from classrooms!!

The current days/times we’re looking to fill will be highlighted to help you find it easier!! Today is the very LAST day to get your orders in!! Please submit all orders by the end of the day today, orders will be sent out Monday morning and you will no longer be able to purchase items online. Make sure to grab all your wrapping supplies and check out the fun stocking stuffers they have to get a head start on the holidays!!Cookie dough pickup will be October 20th in the Elementary cafeteria, more details to come!!

Today is the last day to get your orders in with our students but our Otis Cookie Dough fundraiser is extended online!! The online catelog will remain open throughout the weekend so be sure to get your orders in before the end of the day this Sunday!! Don’t miss your chance to get some holiday shopping done while helping support the Monroe Primary School PTO. All purchases help raise funds to go towards helping the teachers and staff provide the students the best possible education experience!!

Don’t miss out!! Monroe Primary’s annual Otis Cookie dough fundraiser is coming to an end!! Tomorrow will be the last day for students to submit their order forms to win some really cool prizes!! Don’t forget to check their online catelog, they have so many great items to choose from including candles, kitchen items, wrapping paper, jewelry and so many more holiday items to brighten up the season!!

Monroe Primary has some exciting updates to share!! During our last fundraiser, as a community, we were able to hit our fundraising goals to get the Primary School some new playground equipment!! With the new construction and plans of merging the Primary School with the bigger campus, we have unfortunately faced some delays. We want to be sure that any equipment that is added can be moved with them when they move campuses. We have been working with the company diligently to come up with a plan to move forward with the improvements! In the next coming weeks, the Teachers and Staff will have the opportunity to pick from several different types of “movable” playground equipment pieces and vote on which one they believe will be most beneficial for the students! We look forward to finalizing a plan and are excited to see what’s to come!!

The Scholastic fall book fair is coming to Monroe Primary School September 14th-17th!! We’re looking for volunteers to help the kids shop and to help them walk to and from their classrooms and the gym! If you are interested in volunteering during the day/time that your child will be shopping there is a contact located on the sign up sheet and we will do our best to help make that happen!! We love seeing their faces light up when seeing a familiar face!! We appreciate anyone who is able to help!! As a reminder, a background check is required by the district in order to volunteer!! Thank you!! 💛💙

It’s cookie season!! Monroe Primary PTO is having their big annual Otis Cookie Dough Fundraiser!! The fundraiser will be ending on September 9th, don’t miss your chance to grab something for the whole family!! It’s a great way to get ready for the upcoming holiday season!! Duty calls, Lunch duty that is!! Monroe Primary PTO is looking for volunteers to help open snacks and assist the kids during lunchtime next week 8/17-8/21! We are looking for two volunteers for each time slot. The first time slot will be from 10:40a-12:15p and the second one will be 12:15p-1:30p. If you are able to sign up to help out please follow the link posted below. As a reminder, all volunteers must have a background check on file with the school district prior to volunteering.
More information on how to obtain a background check is provided at the top of the page. We looked forward to working together with you all to help make this a great year!! Thank you!!
