On the first day of Mix and Match Art Camp, ordinary trash became extraordinary art. Campers learned to see everyday items—like plastic caps and cardboard tubes—not as waste, but as raw materials for their imagination. Through sorting and sketching, they practiced spatial planning and teamwork. The room buzzed with energy as they glued, taped, and painted their unique sculptures. By the late morning gallery walk, everyone proudly displayed how recycling and creativity can bring the wildest ideas to life.

Some skills are still worth teaching.

At Meadow Montessori, learning cursive is a process. Students begin by recognizing cursive letters, tracing their shapes with their fingers, developing proper pencil grip and control, and eventually writing cursive themselves.

It’s hands-on learning that builds skills one step at a time. Timeless skills. Thoughtfully taught.
