D.A.R.E. with our very own Deputy Senio and Bosco continued for week two today, and it was fantastic! 🚔📚

Our sixth graders asked thoughtful questions, shared great conversations, and learned about making good decisions, staying safe, and taking care of their health.

Bosco handed out plenty of pats, took lots of notes, and ended the day completely exhausted from all the learning!

Thank you, Deputy Senio, for going above and beyond for our students and making it a priority to bring D.A.R.E. back to our school. 💙🐻

Join us at Jefferson Middle School for HOCO Spirit Week! ✨

A quick note for new families: We follow Jefferson High School’s spirit week themes, with a few modifications that work best for our students.

Saturdays are for Jr. Bears! 🐻📣

It was a beautiful day to cheer on some of our students, and Bosco was there to show his support! Our fifth-grade cheerleaders work hard, come together as a team, and keep the energy flowing.

Our boys worked hard and brought home the win!

That’s what family is all about: showing up and cheering each other on, even after school hours. Way to go, Bears! 💙🏈

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿! 🤩🤫

Jefferson Middle School has some incredible staff, and we’re excited to share this special opportunity with you!

Our very own Mrs. Molly is an incredibly talented artist who has hand-painted cleats for Miami Dolphins player Zach Sieler for years as part of My Cause My Cleats. His cleats feature an outdoors theme representing the Sieler Safe Haven Foundation. This year, his wife asked Mrs. Molly to include black bears, and that’s when it all clicked! 🏈🐻

Now our students can help with the design! Through October 14, students can pick up a cleat template in the office and share their ideas through drawings, words, or a sketch. Mrs. Molly will add her artistic touch, and selected ideas may become part of the final design!

And there’s more… 😍 Mr. Armando and Mr. Nadeau are making this a PBIS experience. Four students will be selected to receive their VERY OWN Air Force 1s with hand painted designs inspired by Zach Sieler’s cleats.

This is what family is all about: supporting a great cause and giving students the chance to be part of something special. Get creative, we can’t wait to see your ideas! 🎨👟

MFG DAY 2026 🧑‍🏭📠

Twenty four JMS eighth graders and three chaperones enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at the manufacturing industry during Monroe County Manufacturing Day! The group toured Premier Industries in Monroe, learned about the facility’s history, and explored the many services that make manufacturing possible.

After the tour, Premier Industries treated everyone to a delicious pizza lunch. Back at school, students enjoyed ice cream and a cookie cake made by Great Lakes Cookie Cakes. A great time was had by all! 🍕🍦🍪👏

Being part of a team is something special! Our seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams have been working hard, and we’re lucky to have incredible coaches who build such a strong bond between these girls. Their days are filled with laughter, smiles, and a love for the game. 🏐✨

Come cheer them on at Jefferson’s Pink Out as the Bears take on Dundee on October 1!

7th Grade: 4:00 PM at the Rec Center
8th Grade: 5:00 PM at the Rec Center
JV: 5:30 PM in the Jefferson High School gym
Varsity: 7:00 PM in the Jefferson High School gym

Wear pink and join us in showing support for breast cancer awareness and Kari Hafner and her family. 💗🐻

Blue skies and sunshine! ☀️💙

Our students soaked up the beautiful fall weather during recess today. We know being indoors all day can feel like a lot, so we make the most of lunch and recess by encouraging students to enjoy their meals, get outside, and spend time with friends.

Whether they’re running around, playing basketball or football, or simply enjoying the sunshine, it’s always nice to get some fresh air! 🍂🏀🏈
