The Monroe boys soccer team will be hosting the first competition at our new school at Badger State Ethanol Stadium. ⚽

This game will be held on August 25th vs McFarland. The JV game starts at 5:00 p.m. with varsity to follow at 7:00 p.m.

We would like to invite all past players and coaches to this event. Please reach out to Coach Gottlieb S Brandli Jr. at [email protected] if you can attend. Even if you can’t make it still please feel free to send a message as we would like to get a spreadsheet of all past Monroe Alumni!

Parkside had another successful Summer Bingo day! 🌞👏

Thank you again to the amazing PTO for funding Parkside's book vending machine and snacks for the day!

Parkside students can turn in their next Bingo cards during Meet Your Teacher this month!

🪴 Last spring, second graders at Parkside planted corn and bean seeds as a part of their Number Corner work. They worked on measuring and recording the growth of their plants. At the end of the unit, they had the chance to take their sprouts home.

This Parksider took amazing care of her sprout and ended up with an impressive corn plant! 🌱 🌽

The Monroe Noon Optimist Club ran a supply drive throughout the summer to support students within the School District of Monroe!

This year's drive is in memory of dedicated Noon Optimist member Ann Wells.

Monroe students and families in need of school supplies can visit any of our elementary schools on the dates listed below. Any remaining supplies will be available at each elementary school's Meet Your Teacher Night later in August.

Parkside Elementary:
August 10th from 1-5 PM
August 13th from 10 AM - 2 PM

Northside Elementary:
August 10th from 8 AM - 4 PM
August 12th from 8 AM - 4 PM

Abraham Lincoln Elementary:
August 11th from 8 AM - 4 PM
August 12th from 8 AM - 4 PM

The Monroe Morning Optimist Club has partnered with the School District of Monroe again this year to help meet student needs.

The Optimist Club has successfully funded all elementary schools in shoes for their students who may not be able to otherwise have them.

Shoes will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis for elementary students only, with no size or style requests. Families may visit any distribution site that works best for them. Any remaining shoes will be available at each elementary school's Meet Your Teacher Night later in August.
