🏈📣 HOMECOMING SPIRIT WAS IN FULL SWING AT SODT ELEMENTARY! 📣🏈

What an AMAZING way to kick off Homecoming Friday! Today, our Sodt Bears received a very special welcome from our Jefferson High School football players and cheerleaders, and the excitement was contagious!

Whether arriving by bus or being dropped off by family, our students were greeted with BIG cheers, high-fives, and tons of school spirit from our JHS football team! Our awesome cheerleaders took it a step further by welcoming students out of their cars and walking them right into the building. Talk about a rockstar entrance!

The smiles, laughter, and excitement were the PERFECT way to start the day! A HUGE THANK YOU to our JHS football players and cheerleaders for taking time out of your day to make our youngest Jefferson Bears feel so special. You brought the Homecoming spirit straight to Sodt, and we LOVED every minute of it!

💛 Grandparents & Grandfriends, You Make Our Hearts SMILE! 🐻

September 13, 2026, was National Grandparents Day, and what better way to honor our fabulous grandparents and grandfriends than with a special breakfast at Sodt Elementary that was held on September 25, 2026!

With 138 wonderful guests in attendance, our cafeteria was bursting with hugs, laughter, smiles, and so much love! It was truly heartwarming to see our Jefferson Bears sharing such special moments with the amazing people who mean so much to them. These are the memories that make our Sodt family so special! 🥰

A HUGE thank-you to our incredible Food Service team, the dedicated staff at Sodt Elementary, and, of course, our amazing grandparents and grandfriends who took time out of their busy schedules to join us. Your presence made this morning extra special, and we are so grateful you spent it with us!

Thank you for helping make our Grandparent/Grandfriend Breakfast a morning to remember!

🎉 What an incredible week of end-of-the-year fun at Sodt Elementary! 🎉

Our week was packed with exciting events, special memories, and plenty of reasons to celebrate! We kicked things off with our annual Family Picnic, where students and their families came together to celebrate a wonderful school year. From bounce houses and raffle basket drawings to relaxing family yoga sessions, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

On Thursday, we were thrilled to welcome the talented JMS 6th Grade Band. Students sang along, clapped to the beat, and enjoyed hearing some of their favorite songs performed live. Their energy and enthusiasm made for a fantastic performance that had everyone smiling!

To wrap up the week, we held our final Y.E.S. Club Celebration under the sunshine. Students enjoyed eating lunch outdoors with friends, sharing laughs, and celebrating all of their hard work and positive choices throughout the year.

As the school year winds down, it has been wonderful to see our students making memories, building friendships, and enjoying these special moments together. What a fun-filled and unforgettable week at Sodt Elementary! ☀️🎶🎈💙
