🎨 Calling All Monroe County Student Artists!

MAC Spirit Wear Contest 2026-27

The Monroe Autism Collaborative (MAC) Spirit Wear Contest is officially open! We’re inviting Peer-to-Peer groups, individual student artists, and classrooms from across Monroe County to help create this year’s MAC spirit wear design.

We’re looking for a creative, student-designed logo that represents autism acceptance, inclusion, belonging, individuality, and community. The winning design could be featured on MAC shirts, sweatshirts, promotional materials, and other spirit wear!

Get creative. Make it meaningful. Show us what MAC means to you!

Manufacturing Day - Post #2

Nearly 150 8th grade students from Summerfield Jr/Sr High School & Whiteford Agricultural School District visited the manufacturing operations at Stone Co.

More photos are coming in throughout the day from the MFG DAY sites around the county. Be sure to check back!

A huge thank you to all of our partnering agencies for making this day happen. Amazing things happen for kids when the community comes together.

🔧 Manufacturing Day in Monroe County! 🏭

Monroe County 8th-grade students from schools across the county are getting an inside look at the world of manufacturing!

As part of Manufacturing Day, students have the opportunity to visit local manufacturers, including La-Z-Boy, Inc., where they can explore modern manufacturing, learn about the wide variety of careers available in the industry, and see firsthand the skills and technology that keep our local businesses moving forward.

Thank you to La-Z-Boy and all of our participating community partners for opening their doors and helping students connect classroom learning with exciting future career possibilities!
