What a fun week of summer camp at Monroe Montessori School. The elementary camp had fun making tie dye shirts and recycled art for arts and crafts week! The preschool, K/1st grade camps had an amazing storybook author week. They enjoyed a visit to the Monroe Library, a book reading from local author Beau Bryan and his book series Bo**er the Bigfoot and a book reading from local bookstore owner Erin Jergensen from Enchanted Book Store in Snohomish! Students also had fun reading books by Eric Carle and Dr. Seuss and completing fun themed art by each author. See less

What happens when elementary students are given the freedom to pursue big ideas? A finger knitting project turned into a world record attempt! It was powered by creativity, collaboration, problem solving, persistence, and a love of BIG work. 🧶✨

Upper elementary students took full ownership of funding their outdoor camp and raised $1,800! They planned, organized, and showed up week after week to make it happen by selling pizza to students and staff. This wasn’t just a fundraiser… it was teamwork, persistence, and real-world problem solving in action.

A big thank you to everyone who supported them by buying pizza. You helped make this experience possible!
