A few snapshots from Mrs. Alexus' class. They focused on hands-on learning and skilled building! The children worked on their oral motor/speech & breath control skills by blowing paint through straws to create wave art. Sea creature fine-motor practice by gluing & sprinkling salt to watch the textures change. They also did a fun yarn activity for extra fine-motor practice, & played with a parachute 🌊😎

Our PK0 & PK1 had fun diving into Animals & Summer Fun this week! Through animal textures, silly sounds, puppet shows, & sensoryplay, our sweet friends are building fine motor & language skills. ♥️💛🐟😎

Pre-K2 learned about sea turtles, painted seashells, to making their own ocean sensory bottles, & for a cooking activity, Swedish Fish Jell-O treats.
They set sail on the high seas in their custom cardboard box boats & welcomed a new aquarium right into the classroom! I asked them what the fish's name, it's name is “fish” 🐟🐡Lol. 😁

🌊Mrs. Sarah’s class felt like a splashy ocean adventure as they kicked off the Sealife & Summer theme.. Monday with beach drawings, dove into sea‑creature silhouettes on Tuesday, built coral reefs from Play‑Doh & dyed pasta on Wednesday & wrapped up today with bright coral reef blow‑art. I'm glad you get to SEA it! 😊

🥰 Happy Father’s Day from EWLS! We showed our appreciation to all the special men in our children’s lives this morning with a special breakfast with dads. One of our 3 year olds, Nadia Van, told me later on today, “it was incredible and amazing!” We thank you for all the love and care you give to the children. 🫶
