COMING UP ON 9/17: ULM Mock Trial High School Preview Day!!

This event is designed for high school students interested in experiencing what it is like to compete in collegiate mock trial.

Students will have the opportunity to learn how mock trial works, meet current ULM Mock Trial team members, and observe a live practice in ULM’s E. Orum Young Mock Trial Courtroom.

ULM’s Mock Trial Team is housed within the Political Science program, which offers a pre-law concentration, and has established a strong record of success in national collegiate competition.

ULM alumni Bill and Debbie Mahan generously donated a flight simulator to support the Aviation program and the continued growth of UAS education at ULM. Mr. Mahan recently visited students in our Intro to UAS and UAS Operations courses to introduce them to the simulator and demonstrate its capabilities.

The simulator provides students with hands-on exposure to synthetic vision and advanced flight concepts as we prepare them for the evolving UAS industry, including future operations associated with Part 108.

We greatly appreciate Bill and Debbie Mahan for their generosity, continued support of ULM, and investment in our Aviation students.

Gracie May, HR Manager with SERVPRO of Monroe/West Monroe, recently spoke to our MGMT 3007 Human Resources Management class, taught by Josh Tolleson. Gracie’s presentation, “HR in the Real World,” informed the class about what HR professionals do and how students can become great HR professionals. Thank you, Gracie, for providing our students with invaluable knowledge about HRM!
