The SBC Preschool staff spent their weekend learning and training at the NC Baptist State Weekday Education Conference in High Point, NC. Staff not only enjoyed key note speakers Joy Greene and Steve McKinion, but they also attended classes on a variety of subjects including science, sensory play, classroom management, bible instruction for little ones, music in the classroom, and so much more! It was a wonderful experience and we are excited to start using some of the new information we learned when preschool starts back up soon!

More summer fun for upper elementary kiddos going on at Shiloh soon!

We are so excited for our first-ever FAITH & FUNDAMENTALS BASKETBALL CAMP on Wednesday, July 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 6-8pm. 🏀💙🎉

All rising 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders are invited to a FREE basketball camp in our Shiloh Baptist gym. Students will learn the fundamentals of basketball and play games while also spending time in God’s Word! Dinner will be provided. Spaces are limited! IT’S TIME!!! 🎉👑🏰 Registration is open for our community-wide 2026 KINGDOM QUEST VBS with Heart for Monroe! We can’t wait for THE ultimate multiverse journey to discover what it means to follow Jesus and find LIFE in God’s Kingdom. Kids of all ages will be immersed into a fantastical kingdom setting with unbelievable adventures and epic quests through enchanted lands. Please mark your calendar for June 22nd-25th from 5:30pm -8:30pm.

Students will receive dinner, snacks, and participate in all kinds of amazing activities. There will be games, music, arts & crafts, mission projects, engaging lessons, and much more! All kids and family members are invited to a free Family Fun Night on Thursday evening.

Shiloh Baptist Church Preschool teaching staff would like to recognize that our amazing director, Caron Wickline, has been nominated as an Early Childhood Education Honoree. She will be honored along with other Honoree next Friday at a Gala to award those in Early Childhood Education for all of Union County.

For the past 12 years she has faithfully led our preschool with grace, wisdom and a servant’s heart. She loves Jesus deeply, and that love shines through in the way she cares for every child, family and staff member that has graced the doors of our preschool.

She is not only an exceptional leader, but also an encouraging boss, a constant source of support and someone who pours her whole heart into everything she does. She is kind, dedicated and her passion for ministry and education have impacted so many lives in ways words can’t fully express.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving — Colossians 3:23-24

Please help us congratulate Caron on a job well done. The staff is beyond thankful for her and so proud to celebrate this nomination! ❤️

Today was a good day for the 3's class to play a super fun game of Alphabet Bingo to review our letters and practice our letter recognition skills!
