🐾🐻✨ Our last board introduction is our Events Coordinator, Tasha Rowell! ✨🐻🐾

Hey y’all! I’m Tasha Rowell, and I’ll be stepping into the role of Events Coordinator for PTO this year!

Here’s a little bit about me!

I’ve been part of the Prospect community my whole life—and fun fact, I was once a Prospect Elementary student myself! 🐾 Now I get to watch my own kids make their memories here. I’m the proud mama of Ella, who will be heading into first grade, and Weston, who is entering his last year at Prospect in the fifth grade!

When we aren’t at school, we are usually somewhere with friends, making memories. You can also find us working on our farm with chickens and cows, playing sports, or taking a completely random road trip to the beach or the mountains. If there’s an adventure to be had, chances are we’re probably up for it!

I also work full-time as an RN in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, at a hospital where I’ve been for more than 15 years. I absolutely love what I do and the people I get to work with every day.

I’m so excited about this upcoming school year and the opportunity to be more involved with our school! My goal is to help create memorable events and help make this year one our kids will remember for years to come. And I definitely want to hear from YOU! Have an idea? Send it my way! I can’t wait to work alongside all of you to help create lots of opportunities and support our kids, teachers, school, and amazing Prospect community.

🐾🐻✨ Our PTO Board member spotlight continues!✨🐻

Next up is our President, Abby Martin!

Hey y’all! I’m Abby! I’ve served as the PTO President for the last four years, and I’m ecstatic to continue serving our wonderful community!

I’m a mom of four—my oldest son is in 5th grade, daughter in 3rd grade, youngest son is starting kindergarten and I have a 20month old baby girl! They keep me busy sun up to sun down, but anybody that knows me, knows they’re my entire world! I’m also a full time registered nurse, serve as the cheer commissioner for PARA and am a cheer coach! My plate is full, but my heart is fuller!

When I’m not working, volunteering, or chauffeuring kids from one sport to the next—you can find us hanging out with our amazing friends and family. We’re always looking for our next fun, family adventure!

I’m excited for all we have planned for the school year and look forward to continuing fostering that parent-teacher-community involvement! I myself attended Prospect for k-5 and it holds such a special place in my heart! The sense of community and family at our school is truly one of a kind!
