GWA Youth Football

Good start for the GWA 5th & 6th grade season last night as they defeated BCA 35-0. We are excited for the season!!

🏈Join our coaches and members of the varsity football team to develop good fundamentals in a fun atmosphere. Areas stressed are speed, agility, technique, football savvy, strength training, sportsmanship, and character development.

GWA camps are open to all - campers do not need to be enrolled at GWA. The deadline to sign up for Youth Football Camp is Friday, June 7. Go to gwa.com.

Unfortunately, in today’s sports world class and sportsmanship doesnt always prevail, however GWA would like to tip their hats to the Social Circle team, coaches and families. It wasnt too long ago we were on the same field and had to drive 20 minutes home with our tail between our legs.. we have had some epic battles and RESPECT the Redskins across the road. Anytime a coach immediately after a loss goes over to the winning team to formally congratulate them is special. Respect coach… respect.

The GWA 5th/6th grade team has their playoff game on Monday, September 25 at 6:30. We would love your support as they take on Prince Avenue!

Tonight, the 5th/6th grade team played their last regular season game and finished the season undefeated!! Our star QB took home the belt tonight. ⭐️So proud of these players! Stay tuned for the playoff schedule that begins next week!! Let’s finish strong!! Go Dawgs!! ❤️🖤🏈

Tonight is the final, regular season game for the GWA 5th/6th grade team against Lake Oconee Academy. Please come out and cheer them on! They take the field at 6:30! We will be playing on the varsity practice field at the corner of Michael Etchison Rd and McDaniel St. Go Dawgs!! Let’s end this season strong!!

Congratulations to our 3rd/4th grade team for defeating Monroe 9U tonight!! They outscored their opponent by 2 touchdowns! Proud of them and where this team is headed! Go Dawgs!! LJ takes home the belt tonight!
