The vision for starting the Little Oaks Preschool is that we would be able to provide a place where all the children of our community are welcome to grow in a loving and Jesus-filled environment. We hope to become a place where children are free to be children and learn in ways that best suit their learning styles. In our faith-based, state-licensed education, we will focus on teaching the “whole
child” by focusing on their physical, social-emotional, cognitive, communication and language development in a play-based learning environment. The focus on the “whole child” aligns with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS). We will teach our children to learn through play because research has shown that learning through play is how children best explore and comprehend their world around them. Raising the next generation to be mighty oaks rooted in God’s love.
