Today at the IBJJF Pan Kids Championship, the result didn’t go our way, and our journey ended in the first round. While this wasn’t the outcome we trained for, stepping onto one of the biggest stages in youth jiu-jitsu is an accomplishment in itself.

Champions aren’t defined by victories alone—they’re defined by how they respond to setbacks. Every great competitor has experienced days like this. The difference is that they learn, grow, and come back stronger.

Your dedication, discipline, and courage to chase your dreams inspire everyone at RedZone. Keep your head high, because this is just one chapter of your story, not the ending.

A huge congratulations to Isabella on an incredible performance today at NAGA Newtown, CT, bringing home 1st Place in both Gi and NoGi!

Her hard work, consistency, and dedication continue to show every time she steps on the competition mats. We are extremely proud of her effort and the way she represents RedZone Jiu Jitsu.

A very special congratulations to our two students who were promoted to black belt today.

A black belt is not just another belt—it is one of the highest achievements in martial arts. It represents years of sacrifice, discipline, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the journey. Very few people have the dedication to stay the course long enough to reach this level.

Behind every black belt are countless hours on the mats, early mornings, late nights, victories, setbacks, injuries, challenges, and the determination to keep moving forward no matter what. Earning a black belt is a testament to the character, perseverance, and consistency required to achieve something truly special.

And while today is a celebration of everything they have accomplished, it is also the beginning of a new chapter. The black belt is not the finish line—it is the start of a deeper journey of learning, leadership, and growth. We are honored to witness and celebrate this incredible milestone.

Congratulations as well to our student who earned a purple belt today. Purple belt is a major milestone in Jiu-Jitsu and reflects years of learning, growth, dedication, and perseverance. It is a belt that shows a deep understanding of the art and a commitment to continual improvement. This promotion is well deserved and a reflection of the hard work invested over time.
