Condolences on the loss of another classmate.

******************************************************************
He was an avid sportsman and hunter throughout his life until this last winter, climbing trees, fishing, hunting, and playing disc golfing for hours at a time. Mike loved cooking and entertaining, was a self-confessed wine snob, and loved taking his grandkids to the beach.

Mike was a force of nature and even cancer had a hard time taking him down. He was making jokes up to the very end, trying once more to make Pat laugh.

He is survived by his wife Patricia; children Michael Johnson (Carolina) of California, Jennifer Johnson of Dallas, Christopher Payne (Maribeth) of Austin, and Jessica Black (Johnathan) of California; grandchildren Sophie Lynn Johnson and Preston Charles Johnson; parents Howard Guilford and Kathleen Johnson; siblings Gil Johnson, Susan Ewing, and Allan Johnson.

We lost a classmate-Kellie Lee *******************************************************************
Funeral services for Mrs. Kellie Lee Dean will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Billy Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, La.

Kellie Lee Dean, age 61, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, surrounded by family in her hometown of Monroe, Louisiana. She was born on February 2, 1964, in Monroe, LA.

Kellie is preceded in death by her cherished parents, J.E. and Gloria Lee. She is survived by her daughter Lacey Greenwell, husband Billy Greenwell, brother Terry Lee, and Baby Boy Kelly.

Kellie is survived by her spouse, Willie Dean, and her adoring children, Adrienne Statham (Joshua), Jennifer Greenwell (Robert), and Billie Primm (Lance). Her siblings are Rhonda Barr, Buddy Lee (Becky), and Nancy Lee. Kellie's legacy of love continues in her eight precious grandchildren, Annabelle, Logan Mae, Falyn, Kameryn, Emma, William, Colston, Ellee, and baby boy Primm, each one holding a special place in her heart. Her life was further enriched by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends, all of whom she regarded as part of her extended family.

She loved her 4 girls “the most” and loved being “mamaw”: to all of her grandbabies. She enjoyed spending time at 509, watching LSU and Saints football games with her favorite people. She loved playing cards, fishing, and going to the beach. She was a beautiful mess, hard-headed as her daddy, and never minded telling you just what she thought, sometimes with a very colorful vocabulary. But…she was fierce, generous, big-hearted, and loved deeply. We have been so blessed to have her.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jason Lee, Josh Lee, Jake Lee, Lee Bo Barr, Austin Lee, and Terry Day. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ralph Lee
