🫙🍅 Remember, canners: Extension Green County offers free dial gauge canner testing!

It is recommended to get your dial gauge canner lid tested annually, prior to use. This helps determine if your canner is maintaining proper pressure during processing, ensuring safe results.

The process is simple: bring us your canner lid, fill out your contact information, and we will be in touch in a day or two when the lid and your results are ready to pick up. This service is provided completely free of charge by Extension.

Join the Extension Horticulture Program throughout 2026 for an opportunity to connect with plant health experts from the UW-Madison Division of Extension. Each session, held monthly on Wednesdays, offers a chance to ask questions about trees and shrubs, homegrown fruits and vegetables, indoor plants, ornamental landscapes, lawns, and more.

Whether it’s about plant problems, diseases, pesky insects, or the selection and general care of plants in and around your home, our panel of seasoned experts will provide you with insightful answers.
