MAHS FFA members had a great time at the Georgia State FFA convention these past few days.
At the sessions during conventionFFA members across the state were recognized for their outstanding achievements. We got to hear from several speakers including Governor Kemp who supports Agriculture Education and our future leaders. There was lots to see at the Career Expo. Ella was awarded her State degree on Friday morning. We participated in a community service event making beds for local children that do not have one. The MAHS FFA members represented MAHS and FFA very well. Proud of them all.

Super proud of these amazing MAHS FFA members who represented MAHS FFA at the State FFA Dairy Evaluation CDE at the FFA camp today. These guys spent lots of time getting ready. These MAHS FFA officers are great examples to all of the MAHS FFA members. We would love for more FFA members to participate in the many CDEs offered throughout the year. Great job Brayden, Bristol, Kalie and Ella.

Hannah K did awesome at the FFA Creed Leadership Development Event last night. She represented MAHS FFA Proudly. Super proud of her accomplishments.

Great time in Perry at the Georgia Junior National Livestock Show. Kalie Jackson’s Barrow placed 7 in class. Brayden Peters got a 1 in class with his Crossbred barrow, 2 in class with his purebred barrow and 7 with his crossbred gilt. Super proud of these guys.

Monroe Area FFA will celebrate National FFA Week Feb 9-13. Join us by dressing up all week.

Student organizations and club pictures are on Tuesday 1/13/26 in the Auditorium. MAHS FFA picture will be at 10:35. See you there.

Before the Thanksgiving break these FFA members competed in the Junior Wildlife CDE and FFA Quiz CDE. We are proud of our members we go above and beyond in FFA competitions. Great job Hunter, Grayson, Jaxson, Austin and Olivia. Hunter was 5th overall for whitetail deer and Grayson was 7th overall for Aquatic species. Super proud of all of these FFA members.

Thanks to these 2 wonderful MAHS FFA officers for braving the cold and representing MAHS FFA at the Walton County Soil and Water Conservation annual Meeting. Kalie and Brayden are awesome.
