Monroe Family & Community Education FCE Monroe County FCE Clubs we provide continuing education to our members and public service projects f Membership is only $5.00 a year. We would love to have you.

We are under the direction of UT Extension, Monroe County Office and the Monroe County FCE Council. Our members learn current information on family issues, women's health issues and other timely matters in a supportive, social group. Educational programs on many topics for personal use and teaching others in our communities. Information on public policy issues and ways to become involved,
Public service activities where our volunteers provide assistance to individuals and community organizations. Many of you will remember our group as "Home Demonstration Clubs". We have five (5) community clubs in the county. Each meets once a month. Callie Cobb in Tellico Plains, 3rd Thursday at 10:00 a.m.; Christianburg in Sweetwater, 2nd Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.; Gaines Community in Sweetwater, 1st Monday 10:00 a.m.; Fork Creek in Sweetwater, 3rd Tuesday 1:00 am.; and Sweetwater Club in Sweetwater 2nd Monday at noon. Hey ladies, I hope everybody has a wonderful Labor Day. Just wanted to touch base and remind you that we are going to be meeting at Rebecca‘s on Tuesday at 9 o’clock. If you are sewing bring black thread you’re sewing machine or you can use the ones there at the office anybody else that would like to come and help price we would appreciate the help. Thank you. Hope to see you all on Tuesday.
Also a reminder that if you’re planning on going to the Tennessee State fair that’s on Tuesday the 15th please let someone know we are going to be making cards for the veterans. Also the culture arts and dress review is on September 22 at Roane County make sure that you get your money and registration into Pat ASAP.

Hello ladies, just a reminder that we are going to be doing crafts tomorrow at Rebecca‘s office at 9 o’clock. We will be doing Modge podge ornaments and cake stands so if you have sponge brushes and Modge podge, bring it if you have any Christmas fabric bring that also. Hope to see you all tomorrow

Good morning Ladies. Just a reminder that we will have a sew and craft day Tuesday July 14th at 9:00 am at Rebecca’s office. We will be making the hobby tote bag. If you are sewing bring your sewing supplies. You can use the machines at the office or bring your own. If you have any sew on Velcro we need lots of that. We have a lot of pricing to do also. If you don’t sew thats ok we have plenty for you to do to help us. Hope to see you all Tuesday. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

Ladies just a reminder that Monday, June 8 at 1 o’clock we will be presenting Brian Miller and Tigue their check for the bulletproof vest. We will meet at The clique For Animals in Madisonville .
Also, on Tuesday, June 9 we will be meeting at Rebecca‘s office at 9 o’clock to work on crafts for the state conference. Everyone is welcome and we would love to have you. There’s always something for everyone to do.

Just a reminder that we will be meeting at Rebecca‘s office tomorrow Tuesday May 11th at 9 o’clock to work on crafts for the state store no Sewing involved this time . It will be hot gluing and pricing so I’d love to invite everyone to come help us.
