Attention Polar Bear Nation: Reminder—picture day for grades 9 through 11 will take place tomorrow, August 27th. The information for purchasing pictures was given to students in homeroom, and it can also be found on the official school page. Seniors will take their pictures on October 6th and 7th. Good Afternoon Polar Bear Nation!

As we prepare to return to school next week, we wanted to let people know that our UNDERCLASSMEN picture day with Inter-State Studio will be Thursday, August 27th! Students in grades 9-11 will have their first opportunity to get their school portrait taken during that day.

🎓Senior yearbook portraits will be taken during the school day on either October 6th or 7th. More information on that process coming soon!

📸ALL students will have the opportunity for a retake or make-up picture on October 29th.

🔜Your student will bring home a copy of this handout on the first day of school.

Attention Polar Bear Nation: As we approach the new school year, we welcome all of the new polar bears to FSHS. Freshman and new student orientation will occur Monday, August 24 at 4:00 pm. We encourage parents to drop their students off and go enjoy a few minutes for a coffee or donut, and return at 5:00 for a Q & A with admin in the auditorium. At 5:30 we will send parents on their own campus tour with their students as guides! Looking forward to seeing only our NEW polar bears. Veterans of the halls of FSHS can sit this one out please!

Good afternoon Polar Bear Nation. We know that students (and parents) can now see their class schedule through the WVEIS portal. This is a day earlier than predicted by the state. We will begin schedule changes on Wednesday August 19 through Tuesday August 25 for all students. This will only be done via email request, no phone calls or in person requests will be honored. This gives the counselors the opportunity to work through the requests in the order they are received. Please see the attached flyers for when to request a schedule change as well as the process for making Thank you and GO BEARS!

Attention Polar Bear Nation: Once again we are happy to be able to provide the opportunity for FSHS students who wish to drive and park on campus to purchase a parking pass for the year. Attached are documents required to make that purchase, please have them completed prior to coming to school to make your purchase. Senior students may also wish to purchase the chance to personalize their parking spot by completing the attached paperwork and paying an additional $20 fee. Good morning Polar Bear Nation. We know that students (and parents) are anxiously awaiting the release of student schedules for the 26-27 school year. Unfortunately, we have experienced some issues with the freshman class schedule that we are working diligently to correct. Once those issues are resolved, we will broadcast that schedules will be available through the WVEIS portal. This will lead us to the Freshman/new student orientation scheduled for Monday, August 24 from 4:00- 6:00 pm. Parents are invited to drop off their students shortly before 4:00 and return at 5:30 for a Q & A with administration in the auditorium. The postings run from today until Friday the 31st. This is for ALL SEASONS, not just fall sports, so if you want to work winter or spring sports, apply now!
