Camp Cobbossee is a premier, 4-week, overnight, summer camp for boys, located on Lake Cobbosseecontee in Maine. Sports - Adventure - Maine

Since 1902, boys have come to Maine and left transformed. Our core values are Brotherhood, Sportsmanship and Community. Camp Cobbossee offers boys a complete Maine summer camp experience in just four weeks.

Last week, Jonesy and Fazz took a trip up to Cobbossee to see what the snow had done to the place set apart. Their conclusion? Cobbossee is beautiful all year long!

The most amazing part is the lake. The ice is more than thick enough to stand on so the boys had a nice walk over to Spirit Island. You read that right, they WALKED to Spirit Island!

In the summer, Cobbossee is filled with the joyous noise of campers playing, laughing, and competing. In the winter it is quiet and peaceful. Both are good but we prefer the summer and soon the sun will come out, melt all this snow, and you’ll all be on your way to camp!

Today, our first-session kids participated in the annual Bluey for Morry home-run hit-a-thon, a Camps That Give fundraising event for Project Morry. Project Morry was founded in 1995 to honor Morry Stein, who tragically passed away in a plane crash in 1994. His vision was brought to life by friends, family, and colleagues through the creation of Morry’s Camp.

Project Morry is dedicated to closing opportunity gaps and ensuring that young people from under-resourced communities graduate high school ready for college, careers, and life. Over the years, it has expanded into a ten-year program supporting hundreds of young people, thanks to strong community partnerships and donor support.

Last but certainly not least, these returners are back!!!

The Rovers Head Counselor, Sean ‘Soup’ Campbell, returns with his wife Amanda and two sons all the way from Alaska!

Two of our best counselors to do it, Sam Ogden and Joe Osmend, return as 2nd/3rd grade and 4th grade Group Leaders!

Also a veteran of the Rovers age group, 3rd year, Riley Peters, steps into the Program Director position after two tours of duty on the ground with the boys!

Veteran Group Leader of Rovers, Raine Kerhin, returns alongside her Rovers partner in crime, the mighty Butter, Zach Rupp!

They are both moving up an age group with the last two years of Rovers boys to the 5th and 6th grade Warriors!

Ben Mooney returns as 6th grade Warriors Group Leader with Rupp managing 5th grade! Raine leads the trio as our middle age group Head Counselor!

Returning Office Manager, Courtney Wilson, locks down the office once again!!!
