It was so great having Harold Green on campus for two days. Harold was the keynote speaker for the 7th annual MLK convocation and hosted an engaging writing workshop for students at Monmouth College and local area schools. Thanks to Harold and everyone who made the past two days incredible.

Happy birthday to the man that fought countless days and nights to end the deep-rooted culture of racial injustice. Although the fight against racial injustice isn’t over, Dr. King showed us that we should always fight for what we believe in. Even if it means sacrificing everything. Happy Birthday to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Your fight and commitment for equity, inclusion and community will never be forgotten.

You don’t want to miss this ! The featured speaker for the 7th annual MLK convocation will be award-winning poet and storyteller, Harold Green III.
