Dear Families,

As we move through the cold and flu season, we kindly ask for your help in keeping our daycare community healthy. If your child is feeling unwell or showing symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, persistent cough, or other signs of illness, please keep them home until they are well enough to participate in daily activities.

Due to the increasing cases of various illnesses, the daycare will be CLOSED on Friday, February 13th for a teacher in-service day. During this time, staff will be thoroughly sanitizing toys, furniture, and classroom materials to further support a clean and healthy environment for our children.

Please note that children must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication (such as Tylenol or ibuprofen) before returning to daycare. Also, with vomiting or diarrhea they need to be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to daycare. Keeping sick children home helps protect our staff and other children, many of whom may be more vulnerable to illness. It also helps reduce the spread of germs, allowing us to maintain a safe, healthy environment for everyone.

We understand that illness-related absences and closures can be inconvenient, and we truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Working together makes a big difference in keeping our daycare running smoothly and our community well.
