Our podcast, What Are You Going to Do with That?, offers a counterpoint to arguments that discourage humanities study. Now in its second season, the podcast explores the lives and perspectives of everyday people who studied the humanities and are finding fulfillment in a range of careers. Their stories debunk widespread misperceptions about humanities majors’ career prospects by highlighting some of the limitless possibilities for applying humanities knowledge and skills in today’s workforce—as well as opportunities to leverage such skills to improve our world.

Importantly, the podcast is designed for students, as well as those who advise them. As we move into a new season of study, could you take a moment to share the podcast with a student, friend, or colleague who would find it useful? And if you’ve used the podcast in your own work or academic career, please let us know!

A podcast where we explore everyday folks’ decisions to study the humanities as undergraduates and their pathways to fulfilling careers.
