Yesterday, our department inducted 11 new members to Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honors society!

Professor Andre Audette led the Zoom event, and the Executive Director of Pi Sigma Alpha, Sean Twombly, addressed the new inductees. One of those inductees, Rodolfo Garcia, will also become the new chapter president.

Last night was the 9th Annual Monmouth College Moot Court competition. We had 4 very strong student advocates arguing the case; all did an outstanding job! Those four students were Joe Doner, Jared Hankinson, Emma Hildebrand, and Hadley Smithhisler.
The judges had a tough decision, but awarded Emma Hildebrand as the top advocate. Congratulations, Emma!
We are also grateful for the support of our excellent volunteer judges, Mike Connell, Sara Kitsch, and Justice Thomas Kilbride.
