Monmouth Independence Community Preschool Learning is fun for the whole family at MICP! Our parent led cooperative preschool has been teaching Leading to increased independence and a positive self-image.

Our curriculum is based on "hand on " experiences which are developmentally age appropriate. The daily activities provide children a chance to grow and develop at their own place in a safe and healthy environment. each activity offers a variety of opportunities for different kinds of development. Children are encouraged to use their creativity in the various experiences. MICP provides a balance of

active and quiet times, large group, small group and individual activities and structured and unstructured times.

Exciting News!!!!! We’ve had an amazing turnout for the 2026–2027 school year in our 4-Year-Old class! Because of the incredible interest, we’re excited to work toward opening a second class with an afternoon session.
To make that possible, we’re looking to add about 7 more students to our roster so we can successfully run the class as a co-op. If you’ve been thinking about joining MICP Preschool, now is a wonderful time! We still have 3 spots open in our 3-year-old class as well.
