LGA — First-grade teacher Mrs. McAlister reduced the average TSA processing time at Checkpoint B from 4.2 minutes per traveler to 38 seconds on Saturday morning after deploying positive behavior reinforcement techniques on a line of 63 adult passengers awaiting screening for the 9:15 a.m. departure to Orlando.

Within four minutes of Mrs. McAlister's initial announcement praising a passenger identified only as "Belt-Off Gentleman," an estimated 47 travelers had spontaneously removed their shoes, produced their quart-sized liquid bags, and arranged their laptops in separate bins, with one woman in row six placing her hands silently on top of her head. TSA officer Ms. Delacroix, reached for comment, confirmed she had never seen a compliance rate that high and requested Mrs. McAlister's contact information for the upcoming holiday travel season.

Mrs. McAlister boarded her flight carrying three Smarties for any row that remained seated during beverage service.
