We love our ICs💜

Today, we celebrate our amazing instructional coaches and the important work they do each day to support teaching and learning across our district.

Our instructional coaches are encouragers, problem-solvers, listeners, collaborators, and trusted partners for our teachers. They help create space for reflection, growth, new ideas, and thoughtful conversations about what is best for students.

So much of their work happens behind the scenes, but their impact can be seen in classrooms throughout Monett Schools. We are grateful for the time, care, knowledge, and support they give to our staff and students every day.

Happy Instructional Coaches Day to an amazing team. Thank you for the many ways you support our teachers and make a difference for our students.

🕵️Lost & Found 🔎

Our Lost & Found Department has been working overtime! We have an assortment of jackets, hoodies, and lunch boxes. All items are anxiously awaiting to be picked up and go back home.

👀 If your child is missing something, encourage them to take a peek in the Lost & Found to help us get these lost items back where they belong.

🌟Staff Spotlight: This Is How We Do It! 🌟

What makes our school special? The people who show up every day and make a difference.

We're proud to have each of these individuals as part of our school family and grateful for the many ways they help our students and staff succeed.

💜This is how we do it, at MES: together, with heart, purpose, and a commitment to our students!

🧹💚 Celebrating Our Amazing Custodians! 💚🧹

Before ending the day, we want to send a special shout-out to our custodians! Our school wouldn’t be the same without the incredible people who work behind the scenes each day to keep our building clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for learning! 🏫✨

To our custodians: thank you for all you do—from keeping our classrooms and hallways sparkling to fixing the little things, helping wherever you’re needed, and making sure our students and staff have a place they can be proud to call their school.

We appreciate you more than you know! Thank you for helping make our school a wonderful place to learn, grow, and belong. 💚

🌿🍁Nature Center Edition: Part 2! 🐾🌳

The adventure continued this week as our second group of explorers headed to the Springfield Nature Center! 🌱🔎 Just like our first group, these students had an amazing time stepping outside the classroom to discover the wonders of the natural world.

🌧☔The weather held out, allowing our students to observe plants and wildlife, make connections, and learn through hands-on experiences.

We’re so proud of both groups for embracing the opportunity to learn, explore, and experience nature firsthand. 💚

Our students keep showing us how we do it when it comes to reading fluently!

From rereading favorite passages to adding expression and working on those tricky words, students are learning that fluent readers don't just read the words - they bring them to life!

🎶 This is how we do it…
📖 We read it!
🗣️ We say it!
💪 We practice it!
🌟 We OWN it!

Way to show us your reading skills, readers! Keep shining and keep reading! 📚❤️
