I was not going to post anything until I got the police report, but I decided to go ahead and say it. A few weeks back, I had a parent accuse me of leaving a hand print had her son's back. I was completely distraught over this. Anyone who knows me, knows I would never hurt a child. Not only did she accuse me of this, but her mother threatened me. We called the cops and filed a report against her. After an investigation by the hospital, police, and DFS I was ruled NOT RESPONSIBLE for it. Alot of them stated that it looked like a rash or an abrasion from the carpet. When I get the physical reports from everyone, I will be posting them on here.
Back story on the parents: I took their oldest in, free of charge, to help them. He was mean, hurting the other kids and animals, and would not listen to me. I had to let him go for the safety of the others I had in my care. They continued to bring the other two. I worked with them on numerous occasions with payment. This last time of working with them, they never paid. To this day, they still owe me $400.
Please share this story, because they are now going around trying to ruin my reputation. If things continue, i may have to take them to court, which I really do not want to do. I know I am not the perfect person, but every child that comes into my home, I try to treat them like they are my own.
