🔔 The bells of Notre Dame are ringing at The Palace Theatre!

The Academy at Westmoreland Cultural Trust is proud to announce its 2026 All-Star High School Musical: The Hunchback of Notre Dame, performing October 9–11, 2026, at The Palace Theatre!

Featuring music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Peter Parnell, this powerful musical brings Victor Hugo’s story to life through themes of courage, compassion, justice and belonging.

Students from across the region are invited to be part of this exciting production experience, with opportunities in:

🎭 Performance
🎶 Pit orchestra
🎨 Design and creative roles
🔨 Technical theatre
🎧 Stage management and production support
✨ Other creative and production roles

How to Get Involved:
Students interested in participating should complete the Student Interest Form to share the areas of production that interest them and receive additional information as it becomes available.

Today, some of our Monessen GPA students ventured to PennWest CalU to see the musical “Into the Woods” directed by Monessen Alumnus Queneten Zboyovsky.

What an unforgettable journey it’s been. From the first step onto the yellow brick road to our final bow, we are so grateful to everyone who helped bring this magical story to life.

To our incredible cast and crew—your talent, heart, and dedication made Oz truly shine. To our families, friends, and volunteers—thank you for your support behind the scenes and every step of the way. And to our amazing audiences—thank you for showing up, cheering us on, and sharing in the magic.

When we started down this Yellow Brick Road, the kids hustled us into a deal- they said if we have a sell-out opening night, we have to take them to see ‘The Great Gatsby’ at the Benedum (and stop at Chick-Fil-A on the way down).

This is one “bet” I don’t mind losing. They have worked tirelessly and are only 44 tickets away from their goal. If you don’t have any plans this evening, please come to support these kiddos!
