Cosmetology | Esthetics | Esthetics and Nail Technician | Advanced Cosmetic Techniques | Massage Therapy The Cosmetology Academy at Douglas Education Center provides you with the tools necessary to succeed while giving you the attention you deserve, all with the goal of establishing you in a career where you can earn your living doing what you love! The Cosmetology Program covers the study of the

basic principles of cosmetology, including an understanding of the chemistry of the hair and practical applications. It is a well-rounded program covering all the foundational skills of Cosmetology and will prepare you as a licensed Cosmetologist. You could work in television/film as a stylist, be a platform stylist for a major hair care corporation or even own your own business.

As a nationally certified massage therapist with more than two decades of experience, Benton is dedicated to delivering customized, integrative treatments that support each client’s unique wellness journey. For the past 10 years as a Reiki Master, she has incorporated energy healing alongside bodywork techniques. She also takes pride in educating others through training in reflexology, cranial sacral therapy, hot stone massage, cupping therapy, and crystal healing.
