ATTENTION PARENTS ANS STUDENTS!!!!! Begining Jan 1st, 2024 the road test is returning, everyone will be required to take the test no exceptions. Per the DMV tests can be scheduled out 11 weeks in advance. It is our recommendation that you schedule the test ASAP as soon as that 11 week mark hits to avoid any delays. Please know at this time we have no further information. Heidi

Our curriculum system is currently down due to an issue with Microsoft. Hopefully it will be fixed by the end of the day!!

Parents students MUST be in the car with us within the first 60 days of receiving their permit. This portion of the LAW did not change when the age limit changed. If your student is having trouble getting a drive time scheduled please let us know.

FEE CHANGE NOTICE! Effective January 1st our fee is changing from $275 to $295 for driving. Please know this is the first increase we have made in our behind the wheel price in 8 years. If you need to split a payment please just let us know we are always happy to accommodate payment plans. All fees need to be paid in full by the time behind the wheel is complete.

Parents! You will notice a vaccination date now appearing on your students scheule2drive information. If you would like to share that student is vaccinated that's great if not you are not under any obligation to fill this out. It will not be shared either way. It was something new put in by the company we have manage our scheduling program. Ron and I have both had both doses. PLEASE remember we are following all CDC guidelines and MASKS are required in the car please make sure your student has one when they arrive. If your student is not feeling well please cancel the drive time there will be no late fees charged for ill students. If your student has been EXPOSED please cancel your drive time there is also no fee for this. Thanks so much Heidi

PARENTS/STUDENTS We are following CDC guidelines for buses and ARE requiring masks in the car. Your student will be expected to have one when meeting for their drive time. If your student has had any exposure please cancel your drive time. There will be no fee for last minute cancelations due to COVID.

PARENTS AND KIDS!!! I am going to stress this again PLEASE give me at least 24 hours notice before going to the DMV to get your permit. I email the form which is much quicker than it used to be HOWEVER if I am not home I cannot get the form to you. The new law about 15 year old's being able to get their permits is now in effect as well.

So here is what we know! The bill passed allowing kids to get their permits at 15. The bill goes into effect the day after it was signed HOWEVER the DMV has to update all their computer systems to allow for the change. This is predicted to take a week or two. As soon as we know it is ready we will let you know. Some things to note: Kids can take classroom as early as 14 3/4
Kids will now need 50 hours of driving before getting their license (it was 30 in the past)
Kids still need to hold the permit for 6 months

It passed!! Kids are now eligible to get their permit as early as age 15! Not sure when this goes into effect but will let you all know as soon as we know. They will still need to take the test and do their classroom. You can begin classes at 14 3/4

PARENTS! Please remember by drive time three your payment for driving is due! We will no longer allow kids to schedule drive time 4 without payment. If you have any questions please let me know. Heidi & Ron

Parents if your kids are having trouble scheduling their drive times please remember they can always text me and I will see if I can fit them in somewhere! There is nothing harder than trying to find 5 drive times in a month when they have put it off and want to get their license! Also, just a heads up I have talked to driver training schools and they believe that the road test will not come back until at least May however if your student has a spring birthday (May or later) I would encourage scheduling a test when you can just in case! You can always cancel it but I can only imagine what it is going to be like when they do start requiring it again!
