Congratulations to Senior Quin Sandberg on an outstanding performance at the 2026 Buffalo County Fair Rabbit Show! 🐇🏆

Quin earned the Senior Showmanship Award, sponsored by Pichler Construction, representing Lucky 16 4-H. Quin will also receive a $50 award from Mondovi Veterinary Service, LLP in recognition of this achievement.

Congratulations to Quin and to all of the exhibitors for your hard work and dedication.

Today I had the opportunity to represent Anthony Acres at the Make48 competition hosted at UW–Stout Polytechnic. It was inspiring to meet middle and high school teams as they showcased innovative solutions to improve the fast food industry—all in just 48 hours!

I also had the chance to meet with UW–Stout representatives to begin exploring a partnership that would connect Anthony Acres, the university, and local businesses to create authentic, high-quality project-based learning opportunities for our students.

I’m excited about the possibility of bringing the Make48 curriculum and competition to Anthony Acres in the future. Experiences like these help students develop creativity, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving skills while preparing them to become the innovative leaders of tomorrow.

Looking for a great place to hike, walk, or enjoy nature?

Explore the trails at Anthony Acres! Over the past year, students have added three new trails and several seating areas for relaxing and observing wildlife in the Rock Creek wetland.

Don’t miss our one-acre pollinator prairie, home to butterflies, bees, and native plants. Watch for student-created nature art and our favorite landmark—a maple tree over 100 years old.

Before you leave, check out the giant roadside mural by artist John Cerney celebrating Wisconsin’s agricultural heritage.

Whether you’re here for a peaceful walk, bird watching, photography, or a family outing, we’d love to have you visit our 34-acre campus.

Earlier this month, Sam Ede, a junior at Anthony Acres, proudly represented our school at the Wisconsin Youth Leadership Seminar in Waukesha.

Sam was selected to join hundreds of student leaders from across Wisconsin for an intensive three-day seminar focused on leadership, service, collaboration, and making a positive impact in their communities.

Since joining Anthony Acres in 6th grade, Sam has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, a willingness to help others, and a commitment to making our school community better. This opportunity was a well-deserved recognition of those qualities and a testament to the positive impact Sam has had on our school.

We are incredibly proud of Sam and grateful for the example they set for others each day. We look forward to seeing all the great things they will accomplish during the rest of their high school journey and beyond.

Congratulations to Kolten Marten and Quin Sandberg on earning their letters with the Mondovi Trap Team!

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the season. Their achievement reflects the perseverance and character they bring both on the range and at school.

The entire Anthony Acres family celebrates your success—great job, Kolten and Quin! 👏🏅

The Mondovi High School/Middle School trap team successfully concluded the 2026 season at their awards banquet last Sunday. A total of 14 students demonstrated exceptional skill with averages of 20/25 or more, earning letter winner recognition.

We extend our best wishes to the 14 students competing in the State tournament in Nekoosa this Sunday.

We had an amazing time at Valleyfair in Shakopee today as we wrapped up our final field trip of the 2025–26 school year! From thrilling rides and plenty of screams to lots of laughs and great memories, it was a fantastic day of fun, friendship, and camaraderie. A perfect way to celebrate an incredible year together at Anthony Acres!

What a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors at Half Moon Lake! Students spent the day fishing, kayaking, and hiking while making the most of the sunshine and fresh air. It was the perfect way to kick off the final days of the school year and celebrate a year filled with learning, growth, and adventure. ☀️🎣🛶🥾

Last Friday, we welcomed families and community members to our STEAM Project Showcase, where students presented projects focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

Many projects centered on improving our 34-acre campus through new trails, trail signage, scenic overlooks, art murals, and other lasting enhancements. We are proud of our students for applying their learning to make a real impact on our school and community. Thank you to everyone who came out to support their work!
