Unity Day, started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in October 2011, is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month. This is a day when we can come together to send a visible message of building community through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. The call to action is simple: wear and share the color orange this Wednesday. Students may wear anything orange, including an accessory such as a bracelet, hair tie, or socks!

Get ready to show your LOVE for Science by participating in this year's Science Fair.

All projects are due to Moncure School on Thursday, November 19th. Projects will be judged using a rubric provided to you in advance. We know ALL the projects will be district-worthy, but our top 6 will move on to the District Fair to represent our school on December 3rd. Lunch at the Q was extra special today! ❤️ We welcomed 42 parents for National Take Your Parent/Guardian to Lunch Day. Thank you, families, for joining your students and sharing this time together. One of our core values says it best: We Value Family! 🐾

🚒 Learning came to life for our elementary Panthers with the Moncure Fire Department! Students explored the fire truck, learned about emergency tools, and practiced how to safely escape a house fire.

Special thanks to Assistant Fire Chief Brian Sykes and his team for sharing their time and helping our students learn these important safety skills! 🐾

Our Panthers are leading and learning! 🐾 Our First graders and Mrs. Quinn welcomed families to their EL celebration to hear their stories and see their “Magnificent Things”—a mailbox, pencil sharpener, student work display board, and more. They explored how different tools help them create different things!

Shout-out to our fourth graders and Ms. Rapacuk for using Unifix cubes to find the area of a rectangle. We love seeing learning in action!
