Ms. Carr’s 7th grade scientists put their skills to work during the Rainbow Lab! Students practiced accurately measuring liquids, following multi-step procedures, using lab equipment, and working safely and collaboratively. 🔬🥼

Our 6th grade students were hard at work exploring how figurative language helps develop and move the plot of a story! 📖💭

Students are going beyond simply identifying figurative language. They’re digging deeper to understand how an author’s word choices impact the story and the reader. That’s what meaningful learning looks like! 💙💛

This engaging activity helped students strengthen their understanding of spatial relationships and global geography as they gear up to explore North America—all while having a little fun along the way! 🎈📚

Students drew conclusions about how archaeologists work using "artifacts" 🏺 from early civilizations. They used inferencing skills to determine what the artifacts were and how they were used.
