***Homecoming Traffic Alert***
The annual Berkeley High School Homecoming Parade is taking place later this afternoon and the Moncks Corner Police Department would like to pass along the following information regarding road closures on/along the parade route.
The parade will begin at Carolina Avenue and East Main Street at 5:00 PM and end at Berkeley High School on 406 W. Main Street. For safety purposes, all roads along the route will begin to be shut down to traffic at approximately 4:45 PM. Roads will reopen as safety permits as the parade progresses past each location. Roads affected include Carolina Avenue, Broughton Road, Whitesville Road, and 17A and Main Street.
An alternate travel route is encouraged during this time.
