Congratulations 2025 Alumnus Bailey Maylone Hilton Garden Inn Employee of the month. Bailey is a line cook at Jackson's Resteraunt at the hotel. She is quickly moving up the ranks in the kitchen! Great Job keep on cooking kiddo!

Three Students had the opportunity to attend The 2026 Family, Career and Community Leaders of America national leadership conference and competition this week in Washington D.C.
Avalee Bender and Reese Barnes from Riverside compete in Food Inovations. Creating a school lunch approved snack Rivrrside Gardens Garlic Ranch Kale Chips. They created packaging, nutritional labels, marketing and pricing information. Then presented to a panel of judges.

Brenden Wiedaw of Hopewell competed in Baking and Pastry. He made eclairs, chocolate raspberry cookies, cranberry orange scones and decorated a cake.
The results aren't in yet but everyone had fun in D.C. The students got to tour the museums, monuments, zoo and ate at an authentic Maryland Crab Boil.

Mr. K and Chef Piper were honored to be invited to Laurel Techinical Institute Culinary Capstone dinner by 2025 BCCTC Culinary Arts - Put Your Education in Your Hands Alumnus from Beaver Falls Da'Vonne Payne! They were treated to an amazing 5 course dinner! We are all so proud of Da'Vonne as he heads to his externship at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill . He will graduate in September. Your 2026 BCCTC Culinary Arts - Put Your Education in Your Hands Culinary Arts class!

3 Family, Career and Community Leaders of America national contestants.

2nd place Pennsylvania ProStart Culinary competition finishers.

First time cake decorating qualifying for SkillsUSA Pennsylvania state competition.

5 students headed to Culinary Schools.

Over $14,000.00 raised for our Scholorship fund.

Too many delicious meals to count.

Lots of fun.

A few tears.

Tons of memories!

Congratulations to our BCCTC Culinary Arts - Put Your Education in Your Hands 2026 Scholorship Winners. The funds for this were all raised by our class sales this year! Each student is receiving $4,700.00 towards higher education.

Avalee Bender from Riverside High School will attend WCCC Culinary .

Danica Zajac from New Brighton School-District will also attend Westmoreland County CC Culinary.

Katherine Davis from Hopewell Area School District will attend
