A huge THANK YOU to Jason Wright for an incredible day at Mona Elementary! 💙

Jason spent the day visiting classrooms and reminding our students that everyone has a story, and every story matters. Our 4th and 5th graders learned how to take an idea and turn it into a story, and our 5th graders each received a signed copy of his book, Scar Dakota!

He also shared a powerful message with our faculty about the impact of a teacher who notices the small things, shows love, and makes sure every child feels seen.

We ended the day with our families, talking about kindness, sharing our stories, and how small acts of kindness can grow into something much bigger.

Jason, thank you for giving so much of yourself to our school today. Thank you for making our students laugh, encouraging them to write, reminding our teachers just how much they matter, and inspiring all of us to notice people a little more, love a little bigger, and never underestimate the power of a story.💙

Jason will share stories about kindness, family, connection, and those little everyday moments that can make a big difference in our children’s lives. This is going to be such a great night for our Mona families!

What a great night at Mona Elementary! 💙🐴
Thank you to all of our families and students who came to Back to School Night tonight! It was so fun to see our hallways full again, reconnect with familiar faces, meet new families, and feel the excitement for a brand-new school year.
We are so grateful for our Mona Elementary families and the support you give our school. We can’t wait to welcome our Mustangs back on Wednesday! 💙
