Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Moline is assessing damage after a break-in caused significant damage. The studio is hosting a fundraiser on Friday, July 17.

Our studio was broken into today and many of our electronics, including our sound system, were stolen. If you happened to see anything suspicious in our area over the last few days, please reach out to us or the Moline Police Department.

-We have a backup sound system in working order we can use in the interim.
-Yes, of course we have insurance but insurance doesn’t cover everything (particularly our time) and also comes with a deductible.
-Yes, we would love your help. Here’s what would be helpful to us at this time:

1. We’re having a “Break In To Dance Party” open dance fundraiser on Friday. Please attend if you can and/or share the event which can be found on our page.
2. We have a lesson special going. We’re calling it the Steal A Lesson Special. (Buy 4, get 1 free) Current and returning students can contact us to purchase. Prospective students can schedule a $29 orientation by July 25 to also be eligible for the special.
3. We’re going to need quotes on drywall replacement, painting, sound equipment mounting/rewiring, door repair, electronic keypad replacement, etc. If you have any recommendations please let us know.
4. Take lessons with us and recommend us to your friends!

Attention students attending Medal Ball this Sunday!

The event will be held at Turner Hall, 115 S Bench St Galena IL, doors open at 11:30am, warmups begin at noon for a start time of 12:15pm.

You can find parking nearby or near the restaurant we will be visiting for dinner, Fried Green Tomatoes. Can’t wait to see you there!🕺💃
