I know its been quiet around here for a while. While Shooting Sports is in the process of possibility changing owners; I haven't been doing the concealed carry classes there. I have been doing plenty of one on one training at Shooting Sports and Davenport Guns. Im also teaching some of the USCCA training seminars in the area. Some are coming up and I will post them here in the hope Ill see some familiar faces! Whatever training you need, I'm here for you and yours. Friday we had a very successful session with some brand new and very nervous shooters! Christa and Haley came in and rocked it......I new they would! Dont hesitate to contact me if you need anything!

Man what a great weekend of training for some new shooters. Tonight I had the pleasure of helping a grandmother and grandson take their first shots together! How cool is that! Both of them were amazing and looking forward to future training!

It really is heartbreaking when it's 100% avoidable.

Jamonte Shaw, 2, was taken to Comer Children's Hospital where he was initially listed in critical condition but later pronounced dead. A 31-year-old man was arrested.

Another successful weekend for two groups of patriots! Friday had a fun group of renewal students and Saturday was part two for 8 more CCL applicants. A few students started out unsure of themselves but slowly gained confidence and practiced the fundamentals. Huge improvements were made! Quad City Fi****ms and Shootingsportsqc.com are proud of all of our well trained and informed students!

Warm weather is coming! There's only a million ways to carry concealed in light clothing, gym shorts etc. What's your go to? What do you like?

Saturday we had a small but fun class of 7 future Illinois Concealed Carry applicants! Day one is done, alot was learned and practiced on the range! Can't wait for day 2! 🇺🇸

It's was a busy three days at shootingsportsqc.com and Quad City Fi****ms! Friday we had a great renewal class, Saturday we had 14 more Americans complete the Illinois Concealed Carry course. During the course I had the honor of certifying a retired US Army Command Sergeant Major (E-9) with 30 years of service. Thanks Ray, it was an honor. Saturday I had a new shooter in for some private coaching so he could safely operate his brand new firearm to protect his family. Thanks Ryan (I knew he was a good guy after seeing his shirt) for trusting me to get you comfortable in starting your training journey! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
