We are aware that Moline School district has lifted their mask mandate. Although we are in the Moline School district by location, we are not governed by the district. We are governed by DCFS and until we receive regulation/mandate updates from DCFS we are unable to make changes to our policy. You will be informed immediately upon any update to our policy. Thank you for your understanding.
Parents you may have noticed Lake Red Wagon today. Please remember that you can use the side gate to come through if we are flooded.
Just a reminder we will be closed on Monday Feb. 21, 2022 in observance of President's Day. Have a great extended weekend and we will see you Tuesday.
You may have seen the caution tape on our playground equipment, don't worry it is safe to be on. During the cold season the children are not allowed to use the climbing ladders to get on the equipment because they have gloves/mittens on and their hands slip and they fall off. This years class is having trouble staying off of the ladders so we are trying the caution tape to keep them from climbing. Keeping our fingers crossed it works 🤞
Reminder tomorrow 11/11/21 is Veterans Day. Red Wagon will be closed in observance and reopen for regular hours Friday morning.
Mediacom is working on the phone lines at Red Wagon and FCC. The phone should be down for about a half an hour until around 11:00 if you need anything please contact one of the teachers if you are unable to get through to Red Wagon on the business line.☎️☎️

Red Wagon Family. In light of the upcoming holiday weekend, we ask that you adhere to our COVID-19 Policy. A decision to be around large crowds, out of town, or with people not in your usual circle can potentially affect each child, staff member and all Red Wagon families. If you do choose to participate in one of these activities, your child will need to quarantine for 14 days following your return home. We understand the inconvenience this may cause. We are all held to this high standard. We ask that you are as open and honest with us as we are with you. Please direct any questions to Miss Amanda. Additional copies of Red Wagon's COVID-19 Policy available upon request. Have a safe, healthy and blessed Easter.

Here at Red Wagon we teach Christian values, one way to do that is praying before we eat. Our kids learn several prayers while attending. One of the first prayers the kids learn is, God is great.
"God is great God is good let us thank him for our food Amen".
Ask your student what their favorite mealtime prayer is and let us know.
It's Christmas break! Red Wagon will be closed from Dec. 24th - Jan 4th. Have a save and Merry Christmas.
Just a reminder Red Wagon will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov.11

COVID- 19 ANNOUNCEMENT
We have been notified that a family member of a Red Wagon staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member and remainder of her family have elected to be tested. They are quarantining together.
While we do not believe that there is a significant transmission for the children and additional staff who were in close contact with this staff member, if you notice your child experiencing symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle aches, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, please stay home and seek medical attention.
As a reminder, the facility will continue the following coronavirus prevention:
Having the children and staff wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Wearing masks at ALL times and only taking them off for snack, lunch, nap and outside playtime.
Continuing to clean the center daily and wiping/spraying all handles and surfaces that are used repeatedly throughout the day.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Today we lost our dear friend (and boss) Wendy Simmon. We were all just family and I am so saddened that she did not get a chance to ENJOY her retirement. I hope she know how many lives she touched, so many little hearts and grown up hearts too! She was one of a kind and I will miss her energy but above all I will miss chatting with her over coffee. Rest Dear Wendy you are no longer in pain!
My friend Ava walked around searching untll she found me a flower
