McCarthy, Callas & Feeney, P.C. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Legal Assistant to join our firm. This position supports attorneys with residential and commercial real estate transactions while also providing general legal administrative support as needed.
They are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, and enjoys working directly with clients, lenders, title companies, and other professionals to help transactions close smoothly and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities include:
• Prepare and organize real estate closing files from contract through closing.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, title companies, and surveyors.
• Order or prepare title commitments, surveys, payoff statements, municipal inspections, and other closing documents.
• Review closing packages for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare settlement statements and closing documents.
• Schedule closings and communicate with all parties regarding deadlines and requirements.
• Record documents and assist with post-closing matters.
• Maintain electronic and physical client files.
• Answer client phone calls and emails professionally and promptly.
• Assist attorneys with correspondence, document preparation, calendaring, and other administrative tasks.
• Perform other legal assistant duties as assigned.
